The Story Behind PureHeart
PureHeart was founded with a deep commitment to address the needs of foster youth who, upon reaching adulthood, often find themselves without the resources and support necessary to thrive independently. Our journey began with a single group home for foster youth, where we witnessed the challenges they faced even after achieving educational and therapeutic milestones. Sadly, once they left our care, the lack of continuity led to many struggling with homelessness, mental health issues, and a loss of direction. We soon recognized, with unwavering certainty, that ongoing services are critical to their long-term well-being.

At PureHeart, our commitment to these young people does not end when they emancipate. We understand that their needs persist, and we are dedicated to providing ongoing support. Just as parents guide their children into adulthood, we are committed to offering the same level of care for youth aging out of foster care, standing by them as they transition into independence, knowing they are not alone.

We believe that addressing only one aspect of a young adult’s needs isn’t enough to ensure success. That’s why PureHeart is dedicated to a holistic approach, offering safe housing, comprehensive life skills training, mental health and wellness support, educational resources, and career development.
